   • While Town staff will take every consideration into placement of the bench, final decisions are at the sole discretion of the Town, as per the Town Donation Policy, approved on January 21, 2020.

    Plaques hold 4 lines of text, consisting of approximately 155 characters including spaces and punctuation. Please keep the message for the plaque as brief as possible. Donor(s) will see a proof of the plaque and must approve the final design before it will be cast.

29. After reviewing your request, a Town employee will reach out to you to provide the total cost, and payment will be collected by check. The check will be made out to the Town of Highland Park. Donations will be the cost of the bench, plaque, and bench pad (if required) + installation costs + 10%, as per the Town Donation Policy. A final receipt will be provided once payment has been processed. All bench donations will be tax deductible.

    By submitting this form, I understand that the park bench installed by donation is the property of the Town of Highland Park, who will care for and maintain the bench. I cannot add, alter, or affix anything to the bench at any time per Town Ordinances. Should the bench deteriorate due to natural weathering, it is the responsibility of the Town to get a replacement for the donation.
