Yoga & Meditation

Discover balance, relaxation, and renewed focus through our free wellness classes led by experienced instructor Andy McDonald, E-RYT 500. Whether you’re looking to center yourself through meditation or stretch and strengthen with gentle yoga, these sessions offer an inclusive and calming environment for all levels. Advance registration through Civic Rec is highly encouraged. Please note that classes may be canceled due to holidays or extreme weather.

Mindful Meditation Class

When: Every Tuesday at 11:45 a.m.
Where: Room 206, Town Hall (2nd Floor)

Join us each week for a calming Mindful Meditation session designed to help you reset and refocus. Led by Andy McDonald, a certified instructor with over 20 years of experience in the Dallas area, this class offers a supportive space for both beginners and seasoned practitioners.

Yoga in the Park

When: First Thursday of each month at 12:00 p.m.
Where: Park location varies—see session details on Civic Rec

Experience gentle, low-impact yoga in a natural setting. Andy McDonald leads each class, drawing on decades of experience to guide participants through relaxing movements and mindful breathing. Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, or chair for comfort.

In the case of inclement weather, the class may be cancelled.
