More… A resident may obtain unlimited temporary parking permits at no charge for guests for special events or occasions. The issuance of temporary parking permits is at the discretion of the Director of Public Safety. To obtain temporary parking permits, the resident must submit an application to teh Department of Public Safety not less than twenty-four (24) hours or more than seventy-two (72) hours (excluding weekends and official Town holidays) before the event. Such application shall include a description of the event, its duration, and anticipated number of guests. Temporary permits expire based on teh length of the event as provided theron. More… The Town Administrator, upon the direction of the Town Council, may grant temporary variances for existing water uses otherwise prohibited under this Drought Contingency Plan if one or more of the following conditions are met: • Failure to grant such a variance would cause a condition adversely affecting health, sanitation, or fire safety for the public or the person requesting the variance. • Compliance with this plan cannot be accomplished due to technical or other limitations. • Alternative methods that achieve the same level of reduction in water use can be implemented. Variances shall be granted or denied at the discretion of the Town Administrator, upon the direction of the Town Council.
